One of the most recent productions I've been involved with is a dark comedy written by Andrew Buchan (Broadchurch and Better), based in a fictional town of Chadder Vale. The story centres on mysterious disappearances by an unseen entity while exposing the hidden lives of key members of the community.

This was a first for me, using my designs on action props used a offensive weapons.

Event posters

To fill in blank spaces notice boards are often erected, and it's nice to fill them with local events and groups - using lots of colour so they don't look too bland and boring.

Also good to fill in empty spaces are for sale notes and adverts.

magazines

I enjoyed putting together gamer magazines as it's always nice to use dynamic and interesting graphics in my work.

boxing club

We had an area in a boxing gym to dress and I was happy to use my posters to bring some bold colours to the set.

PAPERWORK

Always a little bit tedious, but I actually don't mind it too much. A little bit of effort goes a long way in selling the set or making forms and letters look legitimate.

Official letters always look more authentic when done right.

Computer print-offs from fake forums were a lot of work as usernames need checking and the smallest details matter as they will be spotted.

Instruction manuals

We created a number of graphics for the bread factorywhich included signs, safety posters, instruction documents and paperwork.

product labels

We created a number of fake products for the pharmacy set and for products used in action, which meant making up boxes and labels and multiple repeats to be placed on shelves.
